Pine Planks and Plugs

The pine planks came from East Texas after a  Hurricane downed lots of trees.  My mom's friend in Roganville has a sawmill so we placed our order.  We just had to store the wood for it to dry before using it.  We used the pine planks on the porch ceiling, the ceiling in the center of the house, the loft floor, upstairs bedroom and bathroom and on the stairs.

After researching for the primitive look we decided to glue the planks, counter-sink the screws and make plugs to cover the screws.  If we knew beforehand that we needed more than 2,000 plugs, and it would take countless hours, we would have changed our mind.
